Culinea Wines Identity

The wines of Austria have begun to make a name for themselves in recent years. Pure, clean and uncompromising, they've established themselves as wines for a connoisseur.

New Swedish importer Culinea Wines (a sub-brand of the Lilla Martina restaurant) wanted their brand to reflect this quality in the wines they sell. The brand should combine craft and tradition with a hard, almost masculine edge that signals the strength and purity of the wines themselves.

A well-crafted font with Germanic roots (Fleischmann) was combined with a graphic, simple but powerful logotype and a prevalence of grainy, black and white photography paired with rustic, off-white paper stock.
